Five easy ways to make yourself happy in the morning 

1. Wake up to happy music, something that’s fun and upbeat. You don’t want a rock band to blast you out of bed – or maybe you do!
2. Allow an extra five minutes in the morning so you don’t feel rushed. Otherwise, make sure you have on your roller skates to make it through the day.
3. Sing in the shower. If you don’t shower, sing anyhow. Singing increases your energy so you have the strength to be happy
4. Make the first thought of your day a positive one. Whether you realize it or not that thought sets the tone for your entire day.
5. Look yourself in the mirror and tell yourself it’s going to be a great day.
